How do I connect an MXT500 to the LPX-14?
The MXT500 comes with everything you need. Insert the red (positive) wire into the +V terminal and the black (negative) wire into the -V terminal.

How do I connect my MXT 105,115, 275 with DC plug to the LPX-14?
Cut the DC plug off with wire cutters. This is the 12 accessory plug (cigarette lighter) plug. Strip about ¼ inch of insulation from the cut wire ends. Insert stripped end of the red (positive) wire into the +V terminal and the black (negative) wire into the -V side of the removable terminal block of the LPX-14. Turn the screws on the terminal block clockwise to securely clamp the wires in place. (Make sure there is no exposed bare wire.) Plug the terminal block into the mating terminal block on the LPX-14.

How do I connect an MXT575 to the LPX-14?
Using wire cutters, cut the ring connectors off of the power cord. Strip about ¼ inch of insulation from the cut wire ends. Insert the stripped end of the red (positive) wire into the +V terminal and the black (negative) wire into the -V side of the removable terminal block of the LPX-14. Turn the screws on the terminal block clockwise to clamp the wires in place. (Make sure there is no exposed bare wire.) Plug the power cable into the mating connector on the radio pigtail cable.

What do I do if I plug in the AC plug to AC outlet of proper voltage and the indicator light does not illuminate?
Recheck the equipment installation, hook-up polarity, and the AC outlet.
