Since 1959, Midland has inspired connection through intuitive communications solutions. Located in Kansas City, Missouri, the company has continuously been on the forefront of two-way, weather, business, and emergency radio technology. Known as the first CB manufacturer in the United States, Midland has transformed the communications space with its expansive line of FRS and GMRS two-way radios. Congruently, Midland prioritizes safety through preparedness with its top-of-the-line weather and emergency radios.

How did we get our start? 

Midland is known as the first CB manufacturer in the United States, getting its start in 1959. In the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, Midland expanded its product line to include FRS and GMRS two-way radios to bring easy access to communication at work and play. In 2017, Midland launched its BizTalk® business radios to serve operations like hotels, restaurants, warehouses, and more.
