Midland Brings GMRS Two-Way Radios to New Off-Road Park Partner
Midland Radio is proud to announce its partnership with MERUS Adventure Park to bring GMRS two-way radios to members of the off-road community.
ABOUT MERUS ADVENTURE PARK
Located in the Palo Duro Canyon of Texas, MERUS Adventure Park brings one of a kind access to trails across several different terrains.
MERUS Adventure Park offers up trails for off-roading and overlanding, Jeep rentals, hiking and backpacking, caving, mountain biking, guided public tours, team retreats, and more.
The park offers trails of multiple difficulty levels- Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Highly Experienced, Expert. The park has over 50+ miles of trails.Â
Those looking to spend more time out on the trail can rent a tent and overlanding camping site, glamping sites, RV camping, and cabins.Â
The park's vision was to redefine what premium outdoor experiences could be, to create a place for friends and families to come together, and challenge adventurers to push their limits.
Â
THE TERRAIN
MERUS' base elevation at the rim of the canyon is 3,412 feet above sea level. The lowest point of the canyon is 2,500 feet.
As adventurers explore the park, they'll traverse sand, sandstone, red dirt, rock, stone, clay, and more as the environments rapidly shift. However, MERUS' signature terrain is the red dirt floor of the canyon. This terrain keeps its adventurers constantly challenged along the way.
The park has over 7,500 usable acres and members of the MERUS team have only explored about 50% of the property.
 Â
BECOMING A MEMBER
Members at MERUS have the opportunity to build friendships and create new experiences in the outdoors.
There are three different levels of membership to choose from- Adventure Club Membership, Green Level corporate Membership, and Blue Level Corporate Membership.Â
Adventure Club members have full access to the park seven days a week. These members are also able to secure member guest passes.Â

“Midland Radio is thrilled to expand its connection to the off-road community by partnering with the premier off-road park in America. Merus is truly one of a kind adventure destination. Midland Radio looks forward to bringing adventurers together by building connection and ensuring safety through two-way radios while they explore everything this landscape has to offer," Director of Marketing Shared Services for Midland Radio, Andrew Kinsman said.Â
Members and visitors of MERUS are required to have GMRS and/or FRS two-way radios before entering the park. Because of this, Midland Radio is thrilled to work with MERUS to bring reliable, clear, and easy to use GMRS two-way radios to the park. MERUS members have access to an EXCLUSIVE discount when shopping Midland products on its site.Â
Midland Radio is also the sponsor of MERUS' Test Track and Stage 5 Off-Road School. The Test Track is where off-roaders can go to test their abilities before hitting the trails. Midland is excited to also sponsor the Stage 5 Off-Road School and help those new to the sport learn just how vital it is to have reliable communication before hitting the trails.Â
