Mossy Oak Two-Way Radio is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4 stars for T75, 5 STARS for Midland! We've been using this radio for about a year and half now. We really like them around our Feed and Greenhouse business to communicate with each other. Only gripe is that the re-chargeable batteries seem to need replaced fairly quickly. The re-placements are fairly inexpensive, its just the hassle. We were also having trouble with the belt clips coming out and getting lost, and we broke a few. I emailed Midland about this problem and they quickly sent me 4 replacement belt clips, free of charge, along with 4 new batteries! Thanks Midland! With service like that, we'll definitely be continuing to use Midland products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very pleased so far... I've used this pair of radios for two hunting seasons on our 160 acre leased hunting property. They have performed flawlessly thus far. The compact height, the "FULL" charge indicator, and the short battery charge time are definite positives.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE Radios worked great, had a mishap with water, and Midland went over the top to get my unit working again. The radios are the best we've had ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy Handheld As a Dyrt Ranger I get the opportunity to review outdoor gear. On this trip I took along my recently received Midland X-TALKER T75VP3 hand held radio’s. As soon as I took the radio’s out of their display box I could tell these weren’t anything like my childhood Walkie talkies. Camouflaged, compact and very sturdy feeling. They fit nicely in your hand. These radio’s come with rechargeable batteries. You can also use regular batteries if need be. The base that comes with the radio has the options of using alternate charging platforms in addition to plugging it into the wall. There are A LOT of instructions;) few important points are you have to be registered to use certain frequencies and there is a weather channel options BUT I will have to figure that one out when I have more time as right now it’s Greek to me.... Then we took our radio’s out to play. There was the obligatory “can you hear me now” as we stood five feet apart. Next on the East Overlook we split up and I was extremely surprised at the sound quality . Once again I was expecting the childhood Walkie talkie experience. However these radio’s sound awesome. On another trail, with trees , small hills and distance in between the sound and reception was just as good. I would suggest using something in addition to the belt clip included. It is sturdy but not extremely secure and I worried about loosing the radio when I hooked it to my belt. Overall I am loving this little radio, I will review it again when I have had a chance to use it in more adverse and different situations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the clear transmission & rechargeable battery I had to learn a whole new vocabulary to understand the implications of the different specifications; once I received it, I needed to read the manual to figure out the various menu options and how to make the changes. I have a copy of the manual downloaded to my phone for easy reference! I liked that the radios have rechargeable batteries and a charging base, both via USB. with the option to use 3 AAA batteries in a pinch. They charged quickly and I found the battery life was quite long on stand-by. They have long-range capability with high and low power settings, though you need ideal conditions to maximize this. I got at least a mile of coverage with trees and other obstructions. I loved that I can get weather alerts as well as weather forecasts; this can be more reliable than using my cell phone when I'm out in the woods or ponds. Real life: It worked well over a mile with a combination of lake and trees. On a recent camping trip, I arrived before others and went off to explore, so I left a radio at camp and asked them to radio me when they arrived. We used the radio to keep in touch while hiking and kayaking. Messages are transmitted clearly and easily. I didn't fully test the full-range, but am very pleased with this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome radios for contracting I baught these radios for my contracting company and they fit thier purpose flawlessly. The grippy feel of these radios mean you will have a good grip on them. I also baught the throat mike for these to have hands free communication and those too work flawlessly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Two cups and a string would work better Purchased for hunting camp based off of reviews that they work great. Unless you are standing next to your buddy or you have no trees on your property they might work okay. Both in a tree stand less then a mile away and they would not work. Don’t waste your money like I did.

The T75 antenna is strong and will not break off. The stock battery is 1000mAh. You can use other AA batteries but do not charge them inside the radio. This is a 2 watt FRS radio.

Can you operate the radio while power cord plugged in so you can not drain batteries? If not on this model, do you have another model that can?
