Perfect Small Radio
Glad I was able to find a small sized radio with the weather channel feature. Fits perfect in my Jeep Wrangler.

Great radio
I finally got around to installing it, it was really simple and it works great, I just need to get it tuned and I'll be set, Midland makes some great products.

Great little radio
I purchased this item about 4 years ago and it still works beautifully. I have it velcro mounted to my dashboard of my car. One issue I had the stock mic was not loud enough so i got a cobra power mic and now im louder then the semi drivers.

QUESTIONS
How far does the cb radio go
Range will be dependent on terrain and obstructions.

How many backlight colors are there? Can it be plugged Into lighter and not permanently mounted? How simple to install is the magnet antenna vs a window one?
Hey Annie, we would love to chat with you over the phone to best assist you with your radio needs but to answer your questions; the backlight is just one color, the radio does not come with a 12V DC adapter but you could wire it into one if you would like (we do not have a 12V DC adapter option at this time but it is easily found online), and the mag mount and window mount are around the same amount of effort to install. It would depend on your needs. Personally, I would go with the mag mount antenna so you can find the best spot on your vehicle for the best range (you only have so many options on windows). You would install the radio, wire the cable to the antenna, and tune! Please feel free to give us a call for a more in depth conversation at 816-241-8500 between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm CST Monday - Friday!

Hi all. Does this CBs weather radio actually have a weather alert feature? An actual alarm tone that activates when the NWS sends out a hazards alert signal? Thank you
You can listen to the NWS broadcast but this is not a weather alert radio, so it will not automatically alert you with an alert signal (you would need a S.A.M.E radio for that).

Will this cb radio be able to communicate with midlands 2 way radios hand held
Hey Joel, CB radios will only communicate with other CB radios. The majority of the Midland hand held 2 way radios are going to be FRS or GMRS radios, which operate on different frequencies than CB. These two devices are not going to be able to communicate.

Does this particular radio come with a mount for the microphone?
Will your GMRS radios work with a Firestik KW CB antenna?
can the power cable be unplugged from the back of the radio to allow the radio to be removed?
Does this radio have a 3 pin power connection?
