Midland WR120 NOAA WEATHER ALERT RADIO updated with new features

Midland's go-to at-home weather alert radio just got even better.

Packed with new features, the WR120 is your first line of alerting, giving you and your family time to get to safety.

WR120's updated features

Already one of the fastest, most reliable tools for severe weather and emergencies, the WR120 now includes these improved features:

  • Selectable alert volume (high/medium/low)
  • Location-specific alerts (S.A.M.E. technology)
  • 25 programmable locations
  • User-selectable warning system

With these new updates, users can now adjust the volume level of their alerts. While you'll want to ensure the alerts can still wake you up in case of severe weather events overnight, this feature gives households the ability to customize the volume.

For the counties that have instituted partial county alerting, the WR120 now makes it easier to select your zone. This reduces over alerting.

Why we love the WR120

Midland's WR120 is the gold standard of weather alert radios.

This radio alerts its users to over 60 weather hazards and emergency alerts like severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires, flooding, and so much more.

Easily program your WR120 to only alert you to watches, warnings, etc. in your county.

As soon as the National Weather Service issues an alert in your area, the WR120 will go off. This means you're getting the most accurate information as quickly as possible.

Storms can often overwhelm or destroy cell phone or internet towers, meaning alerts on your phone could come in late or not at all. This is why it's important to have multiple, redundant ways of receiving alerts...like the WR120.

WR120 accessories

SBNDL Bundle Kit

Plugged into the back of the WR120, the SBNDL includes a strobe light and pillow shaker.

When hooked up, these devices ensure those with hearing impairments or in underserved communities are still receiving life-saving alerts from the National Weather Service.

The bundle also includes the necessary Y cable, pillow clip, and 4 AA batteries.
