Midland Radio Plants Thousands of Trees in Earth Day Initiative

Midland Radio is thrilled to announce it is planting over 2,000 trees alongside One Tree Planted. 

MIDLAND RADIO PARTNERS WITH ONE TREE PLANTED

For Earth Day 2022, Midland Radio partnered with One Tree Planted to plant one tree for every order between April 18 and 24.

Midland Radio is proud to announce that it will donate 2,733 trees.

The trees will be planted on the United States' west coast in areas impacted by devastating wildfires.

The initiative is part of Midland Radio's efforts to reduce its impact on the environment.

"Most of Midland's products are used in nature. We wanted to do something that would help our customers leave nature they way they found it," Director of Marketing Shared Services, Andrew Kinsman said.

ABOUT ONE TREE PLANTED

One Tree Planted is a nonprofit organization on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by helping trees.

The organization's projects span the globe. Local communities and knowledgeable experts help with the projects in order to create an impact for nature, people, and wildlife. 

According to One Tree Planted, reforestation helps to rebuild forests after fires and floods, provide jobs for social impact, and restore biodiversity.

Many of One Tree Planted's projects have overlapping objectives, creating a combination of benefits that contribute to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
