Representing Midland on the Trails

Steven is one of our Jeep Jamboree Brand Ambassadors! When Midland cannot attend a Jeep Jamboree event, Steven represents us!  If you haven't seen Steven yet, he is in the beautiful black Jeep Gladiator with the red accents!

A Little About Steven

"I was a Regional Sales manager for Lehman brothers and a Vice-President with Landmark Dividend. My wife, Karen Gregory has a PHD in nursing and teaches at Georgetown University, Erin my daughter lives in Austin, TX,  Stephanie my daughter lives in Colorado Springs, CO, and my Son Christopher lives in Edmond, OK.

I've had a few harrowing experiences that had me reexamine how I look at life. One of my favorite quotes is from Virgil. He was an ancient Roman Poet of the Augustan period. My favorite was “Death twitches my ear; 'Live,' he says... 'I'm coming.”

I took early retirement after a short bout with cancer. My nephew and brother both are jeepers and we look forward to travel and off-roading together in our jeeps. My first JJ was the SMORR in Missouri. I really enjoyed getting to stack with other Jeeps. See Pic. After this trip I was hooked and couldn't wait to attend more. The fellowship is tremendous and you meet people from all over the U.S.

After this trip I realized that I really needed to do more modifications to my Jeep in order to take on some of the more highly rated trails. I soon added new rims, 37" tires and got a 3.5" lift and a stubby front bumper. Had a custom made mount for the Midland MXT275. Guess I'm more inclined to the rock crawling and scenic trails. I've attended the JJ in Deadwood, SD and am scheduled for Tennessee, Kentucky, Colorado and others this year.

I'm a big Oklahoma University Football fan and have attended both home and away games now for over 30 years."
