I am a high school football referee & we are using this series of radios to communicate on the field, which headset would be the best one for me to use?

Asked by: Anonymous
We would suggest the AVPH3 security headsets, and for added comfort and noise canceling you could also add the Decibullz attachments. With these, you are able to custom mold to your ear. https://midlandusa.com/product/avph3rdo-noise-cancelling-headset-bundle/

Are channels 8-14 the same frequency as 8-14 on the radios equipped for GMRS/FRS such as the LXT500?

Asked by: Mike in the Woods
That is correct. All FRS and GMRS radios share the same frequencies. Please check out our blog on the topic to see a full chart of channels, power restrictions, etc at https://midlandusa.com/why-gmrs-for-two-way-radio-communication/
