If you are looking for radios for your farm, this is a great video to watch! Brian discusses his review of the MicroMobile® MXT115 as well as performs a range test with the MXT115 and the MXTA26 6dB Gain Whip Antenna. Even after not screwing the antenna all the way in, he still gets half a mile. For Brian’s range test he gets 25 miles with the MXT115 and the MXTA26 6dB Gain Whip Antenna.

Check out this video if you need some install inspiration for the installing the MicroMobile® MXT275 and MXTA26 6dB Gain Whip Antenna in a Jeep JK. In this video, the crew tests the MXT275 with these two pieces of gear with the mini magnetic antenna that comes with the unit. Between the 2 vehicles they got 12 miles. To improve range, they suggested upgrading the antenna to get max range on both vehicles.

They compared a CB radio to the MXT275 range. The CB radio gave out after about 2 and a half miles, while the MXT275 with the 6dB gain antenna received and transmitted for 10 miles.
