X-Talker Two Way Radio is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought these to communicate with the kids at camp. Given the price range, I didn’t expect the range I got. I was also impressed with the clarity (volume below 5). For the price I would recommend these radios to those who want a basic two way radio with a two to three mile range (tested rural), at a reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from walki I got walkie for my co-work and me for work and we love them and it work great with other midland walkie we have at work. The only things we finding out is recharged not hold it charge and we charge at overnight and it not full charge. But I think I going use alkaline batter and see how long it will work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good radios ! very clear sound no complaints at all. I would however recommend upgrading the batteries they aren’t the best but for the price you get an excellent radio and that’s what counts.

QUESTIONS

can you charge the rechargeable batteries in a rechargeable battery container instead of using the cable.

Asked by: flyboysam
Yes, but you will want to make sure that the charger is compatible with the 300mAh 1.2V rechargeable battery packs

How to change battery

Asked by: No one
Hello, This information and more can be found in the manual that was included with your purchase, or by clicking on the product manual link on the product page here on MidlandUSA.com. Below is the information requested for your convenience! Your radio operates with either 3 AAA NiMH batteries or optional 3 AAA alkaline batteries. The belt clip should be removed to ease installation or removal of the batteries. To install the batteries: 1. With the back of the radio facing you, remove the belt clip (see diagram below) for easy access, then remove the Battery Cover by pressing down on the top center and sliding it down from the radio. 2. Insert 3 AAA NiMH batteries or 3 AAA batteries observing the polarity as shown. Installing the batteries incorrectly will prevent the unit from operating or may damage the unit. 3. Return the Battery Cover by sliding it up on the radio. Replace the belt clip, making sure it locks into place.

How long does a charged battery last? And can you leave them with the power on and the charger plugged in when not in use?
